Determining if workplace illness is covered under workers' comp

Suffering a workplace illness can put you out of a job for quite some time, if not permanently. People all over Georgia suffer workplace illnesses every year, even when they take precautions. It can be very difficult for a victim to prove that his or her illness or disease was caused by a work condition and not something that would have developed anyway in the victim. Because of this, many cases for workers' compensation are denied.
